  I was hopeful due to the great reviews of this place and while most of the food was amazing I actually had to throw away the pulled pork. I'm not a picky eater but it tasted like straight up lard. The sweet potatoes were to die for, the banana pudding was amazing and so was the coleslaw. I would try again and order something else for the main.

  Good food. I'd say the prices aren't cheap but are completely worth it. Wish they had homemade tartar since they have fish on the menu. Still ate that catfish platter straight up with it. They charge more for the Collard greens as a side but recommend getting it. It's FIRE! 🔥 📛 👩‍🚒 🚒. Hush puppies come with a nice twist. some will see it as a negative but I love the clean and visibly family or small business owned environment. Support them if you can.

  this place deserves everybody's business. The food is authentic, delicious, and went beyond all my expectations. That's only half of it though, you can tell the owner has a passion and cares about his food and his customers. The rest of staff was beyond amazing and as well and my food was made fresh very quickly. I can't think of a single bad thing to say about this place, I'm so happy I found out about them on my way home from work.

  Full-size wings were MASSIVE and sides were on point! Whiting and swai fish was lightly battered and tasty- perfectly crispy without being heavy! Get the cornbread, not overly sweet. Super friendly service, owner is an incredible person. Southern hospitality at its finest! ❤️ Clean bathrooms, definitely coming back!

  I recently visited C&E Southern Bites while ordering lunch for my family, and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I ordered three 1-pound fried whiting platters, along with wings and sides of cornbread, hush puppies, fries, and potato salad. The fish is not made fresh, it was rubbery and tasted like it had been reheated, which really took away from the meal. The wings also weren’t great and didn’t taste fresh. The sides seemed like they had been sitting for a while and were not fresh either. The only item I enjoyed was the potato salad, which was decent. On a positive note, the customer service was good and the staff was friendly. However, based on the overall quality of the food, I would not recommend this restaurant.
