Martins is a great place to shop. Usually really clean inside and kind employees wishing to help if needed.

I like the store, but it seems like every single time I go, I get something that is advertised on sale, and it rings up as regular price. They need to do a better job of taking down the sale prices of items when they're no longer on sale. It has happened to me half a dozen times. Tonight I spent an extra $7 on things that were advertised as on sale. Advice for people: check the website and weekly flyer before you go to the store. Or, make your purchase online, and confirm the item is on sale before checkout. I can't help but they that it's done on purpose, as I have had it happen at multiple retailers.

The people inside are super nice and Martin's has some things that are otherwise hard to find (but still no einkorn flour). The sales are really hard to navigate, and you have to watch out because sometimes your discounts don't come off your total. I had 450 points and went to get a ham but lo and behold only 35 points. I gave up and did not contact them but 3 days later I got an email stating "correction, restoring your 450 points." We went over there a few minutes later to get the Christmas ham because who knows what will happen next.

Excellent food selection, especially organic and gluten free. Unfortunately, only 2 checkout clerks, plenty of self checkout. Result - long wait 🥱
