Excellent BBQ. I usually get the brisket platter, but tried the pulled chicken sandwich. It was great. Their baked beans are awesome. You need to try their Texas Twinkie, a jalapeño stuffed with chopped brisket and cream cheese and wrapped with bacon then smoked with BBQ sauce. The twinkies are usually available Monday and Tuesday while supplies last.

Food is pretty meh… quality of meat isn’t the best. All of the sauces taste closely similar. Collard greens are a no for me. I feel like it’s over priced for the amount of food you get, it doesn’t taste all that, and the collard greens are probably the least favorite collard greens I’ve ever had from a restaurant. They are more than likely from a big can bought in bulk dumped in a tray and put over heat. Customer service is blah, but it’s 2026 they are underpaid and don’t care and I get it, it’s to be expected. These companies are greedy. Seems like a cultural cash grab to me, but hey… (I’m a true southerner)

Walking in I knew it was going to be good just by the smell. We ordered take out, and we were in and out in less than ten minutes. Got home and the food was excellent. My wife has Celiac's disease, and this was the first BBQ place that we have found that she could eat at.

Usually, anything to do with Great American Restaurants is a home run. But I find this place mediocre at best. The pulled pork, brisket and ribs are just okay. The sausage was not good at all. And, they serve what is perhaps the worst potato salad ever. The potatoes aren't cooked enough and the dressing is awful. Also, the mac and cheese has a very strange consistency. Couldn't eat it. To be fair, the pulled chicken is fantastic (very tender) and the staff is amazing. But I expected more from a GAR establishment.

I loved it! I wish there was a delivery option but I understand. The pulled pork was great. I enjoy the variety in BBQ sauces. And the baked beans were delicious. The Mac and Cheese was acceptable, I was hoping it would be a bit creamier. Overall I loved it and will come again. The dining area was clean and spacious. I like that there wasn't loud music blasting at all times like other places. Can't wait to come back.
