  Beef Patty was very nice, crisp and warm. The jerk chicken doesn't taste like real jerk chicken. It taste like grilled thighs lathered with a jarred "jerk" sauce because it had a strangely sweet flavor. Collard greens are nice, tender and well seasoned. I like the cayenne kick of the macaroni and cheese. The sides were the star.

  This place caught me off guard. If you’re looking for some really good Caribbean food you came to the right place. I got the Oxtail stew and it was amazing, the meat fell of the bone and the flavor was perfect. I wasn’t sure which side I wanted other than the rice and beans so I asked if the Mac and cheese or the plantains were better and the very friendly gentleman said I got you on both. I went and sat down with the family and waited a few minutes when I heard my name called out and I was surprised it was so fast. Everything was amazing, the rice and beans were cooked perfectly, mac and cheese tasted like someone put their heart into it and the plantains were cooked just right. All in all the food was great, staff were awesome and this spot definitely gets 5 stars. I wish I took a picture of the food so I could post it but it was gone. Oh and the kids stole most of my mac and cheese

  I ordered from jammin Island BBQ recently through Uber eats and everything was so good! My husband and I ordered the oxtail plates and I got rice and peas with plantains and he got cabbage and rice and peas. It was so flavorful and delicious. The gravy was perfect. The oxtails are a bit expensive but I do think that we got a good enough portion because I had leftovers for the next day. We also ordered the Jamaican beef patties and coco bread and mac & cheese, and those were all delicious as well. We were both so pleasantly surprised that the food was prepared and packaged so well for our to go order. This will definitely be a new favorite restaurant for us! I wish we would have taken pictures, but we dug in so quick lol
