  This was my very first time visiting this restaurant , and i'm so glad that I did. The food was amazing.I had the prime rib and mash potato , which was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very attentive, making sure that we were getting refills.And that our food was good , and we didn't have any issues. I love how everyone there works together and comes and gets to plates off the table or if you need something you could ask anyone. For my birthday, I had the bread pudding with ice cream and it was exquisite. I love this restaurant.You've got to check it out.Everyone enjoyed their meals.

  Mike’s American in Virginia has been a favorite of mine for at least 15 years, and it has never disappointed. The food is consistently excellent, no matter what you order. From the warm, irresistible Ozzie Rolls to the fresh Chop House Salad, everything is done right. The Virginia trout is always perfectly prepared, the crab cakes are full of flavor, and the Drunken Ribeye is absolutely outstanding. The consistency, quality, and overall experience are exactly why I keep coming back year after year. A true classic that never misses!

  My first time visiting Mike’s America Grill. Our server Amy F, was an absolute gem!!!! She made us feel comfortable, had great knowledge of the menu and her customer service made this visit & my birthday the best day ever!!! From the minute we came in everyone was attentive to our needs. All the food was so delicious and seasoned to perfection!!!! The community bread basket, bang bang shrimp, streak and calamari was top tier. The personalized happy birthday bread pudding dessert was 1000/ 10!!!! It was so delicious I did not want it to finish. My family were beyond impressed with the service, food and atmosphere. We will definitely go back. Thank you for making my birthday so special and memorable.

  I grew up in Springfield and have always loved eating at Mike’s for the food and also the excellent customer service. I’m visiting my parents for the holidays and was sorely disappointed with my recent experience. My husband and I didn’t have reservations so we sat at the high top/bar area. We had to ask multiple times for glasses of water. When they brought our salad out we asked the runner for water and he essentially dismissed us and said the bartender would get to us soon. When we finally got waters they were never refilled and our server only came to check on us once. Our entree came out before the bread basket we ordered, and when one of the servers was cleaning a high top next to us he basically threw the menus in our direction that it could’ve knocked my drink over. Plus we were waiting for about 15-20 min to get the check. The food is still 5/5 but the service is a far cry from what I remember. I would only recommend this place if you can get a table since they seem to treat the patrons at the bar differently.

  The food was AMAZING!!! I ordered the crab cakes with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and finished with the key lime pie. Everything tasted WONDERFUL!! The bread is incredible!! There were only 3 things that made me sad: 1. Parking was a challenge bc my mom is in a scooter and there weren't enough accessible spaces. 2. The accessible doorway auto-open button is not there/does not work. 3. I didn't know that the key lime pie came with the fruit puree. I would've asked to leave it off if I did. The menu should mention that. It's not a huge deal, just a little misleading. I got mine to go so I had no idea until I opened it up to eat the next day. Those 3 things aside - I can't wait to go back and try something else!! Everything on the menu sounded so delicious!!
