I decided to eat out on new years eve. I called in advance to ask when the kitchen closed they said 9:30. We got there at 7ish. We ordered the hummus with chicken which was delicious. I ordered the chicken mandi. Rice seemed like it wasn't fresh. The chicken seemed like it was warmed up in a microwave. I also orders the kids chicken nuggets and cheese sambousic. Those were good. Kids enjoyed them. My wife also wanted chicken sambousic but those had a weird smell to it. I can't explain it but it seemed like the chicken wasn't cleaned properly and was thrown into the grinder. Now here is the part where I got really upset. After our food was brought to our table not one person came to ask if the food was ok. I wanted to tell them about the chicken sambousic. Which say there we didn't eat it. Also we asked for water and no one brought us water to drink. I had to drink water that we brought with us that we usually fill the kids water bottle with. Service was horrible. Mind you there was a American family sitting behind us and the sever came by their table several times. But we didn't have anyone come by at all. It wasn't busy. Maybe 3-5 tables at most. Once we finished our food we wait about 30 mins for someone to come by to bring us our check. No one came so I walked up to the front desk to ask if I could pay. The guys said he would bring us our check. I also took up the smelly chicken sambousic and told him I was waiting for someone to come by but no one did so I could tell them about this. He said he would remove it from the bill. I wasn't planning on leaving 1 penny as tip after all this. Once he brought me the check there was a an added 20% gratuity to me check and also a CC fee. I asked them why did you add gratuity. He said that it's added automatically and it goes to the owner. I explained to him why I should pay gratuity if all you did was bring us the food. No one came to check on us or even bring us water. But the American family sitting behind me was getting checked on every few minutes. The guy said he would be move it and also the CC fee. This is my second time here. First time we really enjoyed it but this was probably our last time here.

Amazing food and great quality. Everything tastes fresh and authentic, with rich flavors and generous portions. One of the best Yemeni and Arabic food spots around. Definitely coming back.

Fantastic items and the staff is just absolutely amazing. They’re definitely a variety to choose from and you will leave full and content. Would highly recommend and will be back! (It would be $30-50 without dessert and even less without drinks but would highly recommend the drinks!)

The service was personalized and fantastic, the food so flavorful and fresh and the atmosphere was upscale yet quiet and relaxing. This was our first time here and have already made recommendations to our friends to come try it as well because we loved our experience!
The Mixed Grill came with a variety of meats (including grilled lamb, chicken, tarb - lamb wraped in fat and koftah - minced lamb), rice, and a side salad that was so fresh and tasty! The plate was huge. It can easly feed 2-4 people, giving everyone a sample of everything. And the Shai' Adeni - a black tea with condensed milk was a phenomenal "dessert".
Thank you for the great food and service!
We will be back soon
