I visited Dave & Buster’s to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and unfortunately the visit was nothing like what we hoped. Management refused to take my card because the chip was not working, even though there were other ways to process the payment. Instead of trying to help or offer any alternative, they were rude and dismissive. On top of that, our server actually took our menus away and showed a complete lack of customer service and courtesy. The attitudes from both the server and management were unacceptable — unhelpful, unprofessional, and honestly embarrassing for a business that markets itself as a fun, family-friendly place. The only positive part of our visit was being able to use the self-service kiosk to purchase game cards. Otherwise, the experience was extremely frustrating, and we were unable to enjoy what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. Because of this experience, we will not be returning to this location. I hope this matter is addressed so that future guests don’t go through the same treatment.
