    I love Giant but just had the worst experience ever. Mostly corporate. I made my first online for pick up order yesterday. Everything looks good I got texts that it was in progress etc. I did get a weird email that there was a fraud alert but then I got more emails and texts that order was processing so I thought it was fine. At the time of my order I clicked the link to say I’m on my way and it said “cancelled”. I called from the parking lot and she said they were swamped, could I come in. Worked with David at the online orders who was way swamped from orders (snow storm coming) which is understandable, but the system didn’t tell him anything about my order besides it was cancelled. He thought maybe by accident. Told me he resubmitted it, and to come back later that night or they could hold until tomorrow. I said I’d have to come back tomorrow but please proceed. That took 45 mins. Then I get a call at 8:45pm that my order was being cancelled again and there was a fraud alert on it, and I needed to call or I would loose my order. I called the number and they were closed. Called first thing this morning and was on hold for 25 mins, then immediately transferred (without explanation) to another queue in which I had to wait another 20 mins to get someone, who told me there was nothing they could do I just had to reply to the fraud alert email. So I did, and they emailed back that they cleared the alert/verified me, and I could remake the order. Got on the website and there is no record of my order. Called the store and the guy said he wasn’t trained to help and there was no one there who was, call back. I asked him to call me back. Never got a call back. Called this afternoon and was told sorry, my order is gone (a huge order I spent an hour doing) and there’s no way to resubmit it. Needless to say I did NOT do another order from scratch. Went to order from another store and low and behold - Giant has debited my account multiple times for these cancelled orders and I have now overdrafted. Luckily I have other funds or I would have no way to get food for this snow storm. I know it was mayhem in there and I’m mostly just upset at the corporate structure of a) how the fraud alert was handled without proper communication to me and ability to clear it b) none of the store employees knew how to handle this or help c) no one offered to give me a coupon or voucher or any other help to keep my business after I have been wronged. So , bye Giant, I’ve been shopping there since I was little but no more.
