  I came to Saluda Food Lion to do my usual run of getting groceries, not thinking anything of it. When I was leaving the store I noticed a worker who was pushing a lot of carts and that worker is David. David didn’t ask for help, he was dedicated to doing it all by himself. David presented himself professionally and was super grateful for the helping hand. David seems to be a hard worker and he wrapped up my experience here very nicely.

  I was sent a Doordash order in store shopping order for the Saluda Foodlion and Doordash said to pick up by 10:40 p.m. it was 9:40 p.m. when I arrived within a few minutes of being in the store they announced they were closing. I was going through the store as quickly as possible and informed the cashier of what was going on. When asked if we could get the last three items when needed the female night manager was very rude and not very kind at all and told my husband and I nope and to get out of the store. As I was in the parking lot on the phone with Doordash support another dasher had pulled into the parking lot to also do a shopping order and we informed her that they were closed, she too wasted her time going there and had to call Doordash support. That foodlion needs new night managment because the way they talk to customers is uncalled for. Having worked in a grocery store myself before this was very unprofessional and that store needs to also update Doordash on their hours so that other Dashers do not have to deal with the same thing. The store is also very unorganized and outdated compared to both Gloucester Foodlions, and the Mathews,West Point, and Yorktown, ones as well.

  Went to Urbanna Food Lion earlier tonight it was 9:18 pm they aren't supposed to close until 10pm ! Was walking up to the door and a female African American Store associate with dread looks looked and me through the glass window near the left side set of doors and made a extremely rude gesture to me ..she acted like she was holding a knife and sliping a throat . Weird way to let me know your closed. I then got back in my car and tried calling the store ..I want to speak to a manager about her but if course no one answered the phone .
