  Doors locked during posted "open" hours. Drive through is open. Not even a sign explaining.

  My fiance and I were super excited about the grinch meal as we are pickle lovers, however when we spent $30 on two grinch meals and brought them home we discovered that the Shaker bags were in the boxes but not the seasoning packets. So obviously if I spent $30 for product which did not come with everything it stated I naturally wanted to reach out and try to get compensated for it. Me and my fiance, no joke, called this location (Rustburg) for 15 min straight. No one answered a single time. Terrible service, I get mistakes happen but when you can't even reach the company and try to resolve things it becomes truly frustrating. Steer clear.

  This McDonalds it’s the worst fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. I have a special needs child who only eats at very few places and McDonalds is one of them and the Rustburg VA location is the closest one to me with a 20 minute drive. We eat here several time a week and not by my choice. This morning 11/23/2025 I arrive to the drive through window at 10am. I do like the sign says and I pick the shortest line just to watch the 3 vehicles behind me order before I do. This happens every single time at the location. If you can’t run the lines like they are supposed to be ran then don’t do it. Close the second line! By the time I finally get to the first window no one is there. I watch all the vehicles in front of me get their food and leave before all the vehicles behind me start honking their horns. So I do like anyone with common sense does and pulls to the second window just to get attitude from the person working the second window because I hadn’t paid yet. I held it together and didn’t get rude and went on about my business but something really needs to be done about the way this location is being ran. If it was my restaurant and I was paying people to work their I wouldn’t be to happy with 3.8 stars and how all the reviews are about bad service.

  Milkshake tasted moldy. Food was so cold the cheese didn't even melt McDonald's first meal $6 combo That was supposed to be a deal was bumped up to almost 10 because I got a milkshake instead of a drink milkshake tasted moldy made me sick actually the food was cold and nasty tasting I called the McDonald's and Caleb was very nice and offered to replace the meal. I went up there tonight to have that meal replaced milkshake was still moldy tasting. the sandwiches we're not even hot enough to melt the cheese needless to say they were very cold I called the store when I got home and I told them and the manager argued with me said she made them fresh well as I said the meat and the bread was not even hot enough to melt the cheese, it's sitting over there on the counter now I refuse to eat it. Anyway after the manager told me that she made them fresh and I argued with her she hung up on me and then after that my number was blocked when I tried to call back. So that's about it I'm not going back for more food it'll just be just as nasty or worse. We used to count on getting some pretty good stuff there but lately it's been crap and the milkshake machine seriously needs to be cleaned
