  I had dinner with my family and everyone loved it, the food was excellent and our server was wonderful! The kids were asking to come back for breakfast tomorrow before we even left.

  Wow, this was an amazing meal in a cozy restaurant. We were able to make a reservation for our larger group. When we arrived we were greeted so nicely and taken care of. We had a variety of breakfast meals, but I would say the sausage and gravy biscuits (a special for the day) stood out as the best. I wish we could have had lunch there as well because the lunch menu items sounded just as good! We will definitely be making a stop in on future trips to the area!

  Very disappointing experience at Jack’s Shop Kitchen. One of our meals came out completely wrong. A plain burger (ketchup, mustard, pickles) was ordered, but a cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato was served instead. We pointed it out immediately. Even though only a few fries had been eaten, staff refused to correct the mistake or remake the burger. We waited, assuming it would be fixed, but nothing came. When we asked again, we were told they would not replace it. I then spoke with the front-end manager, and the situation got worse. She was dismissive, rude, and blamed us for not double-checking the receipt instead of taking responsibility for the incorrect order. Mistakes happen at any restaurant. Refusing to fix a clear error—and having management double down instead of resolving it—raises real concerns about customer service standards. Based on this experience, I would not return. By the way our receipt was correct.

  I have always eaten here plenty of times and never once had an unpleasent experience until today. We ended up getting the wrong order, which was not a big deal at all considering the circumstances. What was concering was how our situation was handled. When we told staff the order was wrong, we thought they were going to take the plate back and make us a fresh one, but we never ended up getting it. I then went to the front register asking why we never received a new plate, and they explained to us that they can't takw the food back once we've started eating it. Now I had no idea about this policy until today, which I would have understood if they just took the time to explain it to us. When we showed the kitchen supervisor our receipt, the kitchen supervisor was very unprofessional and told us since we signed the receipt, we should have looked at it to make sure we were given the right food and it made it seem like it was our fault. Needless to say, I was very disappointes in how this was managed.
