I don’t know what’s going on over at this Bojangles lately, but somebody back there must think they’re running a surprise subscription service. Because every time we come through, we’re getting upgraded, without consent. Did I order a large drink? Nope. Did I ask for a mega fry or a Bo round mountain? Also nope. Did it show up on the receipt anyway? Oh yeah. At this point I feel like I need to start my order with, “Hi, I’d like a normal-sized meal, and please don’t freestyle it.” Look, I get upselling because times are tough. I run a business too, but there’s a big difference between “Would you like to upsize?” and “Congratulations, we did it for you.” It’s not a one-off either. This has happened like 5 or 6 times now over the past few months. That’s what make me think it's not a mistake, but appears to be a system. The staff is still friendly, no complaints there. However, friendliness doesn’t cancel out quietly adding $2–$3 per meal every visit like it’s a tip I didn’t agree to. Today was the breaking point. I went through the drive-thru to order my wife and I some lunch, got to the window, and the total was way higher than what was on the menu board...yet again! I asked about it and the cashier couldn't justify the price difference. So I just drove off. I’m not getting rooked again. This used to be a solid go-to spot. Now it feels like you need a calculator and a witness just to order a combo meal. Y’all gotta tighten this up. Ask first, don’t just sticker shock us with upgrades we didn’t ask for.

We come in the place, its very dirty. Food being left of tables and floors. Employees forgetting our order after we said it multiple times.

Went through at about 2:30 PM today and of course my order was given to me wrong. I kept the receipt in drove all the way back to get the correct order. I had eaten off of the fries on the drive back to the location, so I handed them all of the food except for the fries back along with the original receipt. They took the food back in through the drive-through window, even though it was already handed off to me. They then came back six minutes later and asked for the fries that they had given me too. lol no, I’ve worked in fast food pretty often and in almost every state they say they’re not allowed to take food back in through the drive-through window because it is a health violation. Not just from when Covid happened, but in general, you’re not allowed to take food back in through the drive-through window once it’s handed through to the customer. This makes me question whether they put the food back under the heat lamp and threw the fries back into the grease. Especially since I’ve seen them inspecting the food. I asked them why they didn’t want the drinks back to them and they said because the drinks were originally mine and part of my order. I told them one of the large fries was part of my order. The other large fry was a part of someone else’s order, but they took both large fries back. I’d be very cautious about eating at this location at this point because if they’re taking food back in through the drive-through window constantly Who knows what they’re also doing with the food at this location. They then proceeded me to hand me one of the large fries back with the order that I was supposed to get originally anyways. Really odd to except food back not knowing if I had did anything to it coughed on. It had any type of sicknesses, foodborne illnesses anything of the sort because all of it is transferable.
