  Hands down the best French toast in Richmond. Huge portion size with fresh berries, compote, and real maple syrup. Quick and kind staff and extremely efficient for carry out (very secure aluminum containers that hold heat well) Location used to be so cute and quaint but due to parking issues seems to have slowed down and become a bit desolate. The inside of the restaurant is still just as lovely though! A great spot for lunch or brunch when parking isn’t too hectic.

  Made reservation for Sunday brunch. It was beautiful weather so we sat on the patio. Seating is on backless, picnic style tables, so if you need support you may be more comfortable sitting inside. The service was fantastic! The food, however, was underwhelming. I had heard so much about their chicken and red velvet waffle that I had to try, but what I received was bland and underseasoned. Right now I'm unsure if I will visit again to give it a second try.

  Great Brunch Spot on 17th St, the food portions are very generous. The quality of the savory brunch items need a little bit of fine tuning but the sweet items are delicious.

  I was blown away by how good this place was. The food was very fairly priced, extremely delicious, well made, but also the portions were spot on. Along with the food being good our server was very polite and even re-cleaned our table after noticing a small smudge. The atmosphere was also very nice as being outside but in the shade was extremely comfortable. As a first time tourist to Virginia this set the bar very high and I would highly recommend going to Lulus.

  My husband, mom, and I came to LuLu's for brunch and it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome and appreciated the warm atmosphere of the environment. We loved the nice servers, the art on the walls, and the lively music playing. We all ordered different dishes which were all amazing! I got the chicken and red velvet waffle which came with fluffy eggs and well spiced potatoes. My mom ordered the biscuit and gravy which she said was delicious. My husband ordered the French toast which came with bacon and house potatoes. He said this was the best breakfast he has had in Richmond and that we will become regulars. They had a variety of mimosas to choose from which I will be back to try with some girlfriends! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a delicious, casual brunch spot!
