  On Jan 20 th after 11am it was the worst experience that I’ve ever had at food loin on brook rd my family and i are faithful customers of this grocery store i heard an employee disrespect an order lady in the bathroom thiis employee name was Russel he was cleaning the bathroom and this customer kindly ask him could he step out so she could use the restroom he told her no he could not and to go use the men bath room she replied that she didn’t feel comfortable doing that and she would only be a few minutes this employee of food lion start to yell at the older lady she was almost in tears some one kindly spoke up for her but this is not acceptable something should be done about this. I would encourage anyone not to take their business there because if Food Lion let their employees get away with treating their customers in this manner, then they should not patronize Food Lion. It’s disgusting how that man talked to that elderly lady I will be calling corporate about this. What is this world coming to train your employees how to treat customers the only thing the lady wanted to do was go to the bathroom and he would not leave and told her use the stall next to the one he was cleaning What elderly woman wants to use the bathroom with a man in there she was scared Food Lion do something about this.   One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a grocery store. Usually this location is a better alternative than Walmart, however certain employees are extremely rude. After leaving my mother's orthopedic appointment, where she has to be put in a LEG CAST, a disgruntled male associate attending the ladies restroom REFUSED to leave the restroom so that she could have privacy. He told her to go around him & use the neighboring stalls. She told him she wasn't comfortable using the facilities while he was in there. He proceeded to YELL HER, telling her to go to the men's restroom (which is located in the back warehouse of the store), come back later or to go to "somewhere" else. This employee proceeded to throw a tantrum until I found his manager. I was beyond disgusted by his actions but not surprised. This particular Food Lion worker is usually uncomfortably over familiar with female customers and often short tempered with the senior citizens. My family and I will NOT continue to bring our business to this location, the Staples Mill Rd location has excellent customer service all the way around.

  The experience was okay overall, but the prices were a great value. Definitely worth the trip.
