Even with the newly remodeled store, there are only self checkout lanes open the majority of the time. There's never anyone at customer service. There's RARELY any cashiers no matter the time of day, or day of the week. I have just stopped shopping there and it's literally 2 blocks from my house. I now hit SL Safeway, Fx Mill Giant or Food Lion. HWoods Safeway is an absolute LAST RESORT!! I just cant take it anymore. PLEASE do better Safeway. Please!

I used to be satisfied with my shopping, but over the past 5 months I’ve consistently noticed issues: spoiled produce with mold in the produce section, and damaged packaging in the meat and deli sections, which causes products to dry out. My husband has already returned such items twice. Please pay closer attention to product quality so customers can enjoy fresh and safe items.
