  The food is always reliable and good.. The private room is a great space -- we felt like we were eating in someone's house. Everyone loved their meals. I highly recommend if you want to sit at the bar, have a large, casual dinner, or a small dinner with friends.

  Red's recently hosted our event and did an exceptional job. Plenty of room for folks to mingle during happy hours before dinner & dessert.Guests commented on what a terrific time they had and how they enjoyed the food. The service couldn't have been better. Red's even accommodated us by configuring space so we could have a Silent Auction. Ryan Tracy and his staff are to be commended for what they contributed to the success of our event.

  I would give this resturant and staff 10 stars if I could! We hosted my friend's bridal brunch here and the team was INCREDIBLE. Easily the kindest and most attentive staff I have every encountered at a restaurant- truly just wonderful. From set-up, to ordering, to checking in multiple times to make sure everyone was taken care of, we could not have asked for a better experience and will be telling everyone about how easy and fun they made the whole process. The food and drinks were great and the location was so beautiful. Peter was our server, and was so sweet to help us prep, take photos, and more! Hands down one of the most seamless events I've ever been to all thanks to the staff here. THANK YOU!!!

  I was visiting my daughter. I live out of town, i.e. Reston. I took my daughter and son-in-law to dinner at Reds on Valentine’s Day. It was a delightful experience. I was so happy to hear you had sweet Jesus oysters, they are absolutely my favorite. I had the oysters and the mussels and the oysters were delicious. My daughter had the flank steak she said was very good. My son-in-law had a chicken sandwich. I’m not sure how he got his mouth open wide enough to eat it, but it looked so good and he said it was when I come to Reston I always go to Reds table. It reminds me of a truly local restaurant bar.

  We had dinner on Valentines Day 2026. Our reservation was scheduled for 8:15pm and I made it about a week in advance. We arrived a few minutes early and was told immediately that are table was not available yet. It took an additional 20 minutes to seat us. Other couples without a reservation arrived when we did and were seated in about the same amount of time. I wouldn't have had an issue with the wait on a busy night if it weren't for the fact that we made a reservation. We were seated and our server was telling us about the specials. She made it clear that the kitchen was behind and wanted to make sure we knew we wouldn't be served for some time. We decided to skim the menu quickly and order before she left to cut down on the wait. Turns out that they were out of three of the main dishes on their menu that they were considering. We pivoted and ordered anyway. 15 minutes later a waiter brought food to the table. My wife's dinner was correct and the order they brought for me wasn't even close. They left the meal with us and later realized it was for another table. He came back to scoop it all up and ended up serving it to another table. Our meal followed by about 10 minutes and all was right. The server, food, and atmosphere of this restaurant were all pretty good. While I would eat there again if I was in the area, I doubt I would reserve a table during holidays or special events because of how overwhelmed they seemed to be during a late evening Valentines Day.
