They also did a fantastic job accommodating my large party of 13, which I truly appreciated. The only issue I had was with splitting the bill. I understand that it can be challenging for servers, which is why I called beforehand to confirm it wouldn’t be a problem. I was told it was fine. Before anyone ordered, I also politely asked our server if he could keep track of everyone’s meals to make things easier. He told me the most he could split the check was three ways, which surprised me because I’ve dined here before with an even larger group and had no problem splitting the bill. He mentioned that doing so must have crashed the system, but the explanation didn’t feel very clear. I let it go, but it was disappointing, since I chose Morton’s specifically to avoid any issues with the check. If I had known they weren’t able to split it as expected, I probably would have picked another place to eat. Other than that, everything about the experience was wonderful.
