- LWLarz WalkerDec 5, 20251.0This store's internal staff are wonderful as with many of their stores. I've shopped with Food Lion stores my entire adult life and always tried to stay loyal. This is, however, a global issue across all stores that use Instacart to fulfill orders for delivery. Not that instacart does a HORRIBLE job and has zero incentive to perform better. But my store acted like their hands were tied. Literally told me "once we load orders into the third-party delivery vehicle. It is no longer our responsibility ". Driver basically disappeared with $600+ worth of products and said he delivered to myself and another customer. Who both immediately reported it to the store. They haven't been able to locate him since he marked both DELIVERED at 4pm. Already an hour late. Now, it's 7:30pm and I still haven't received a single call or answer OR REFUND OR REORDER for the groceries I intended to cook my dinner with. I have to get delivery due to a recent leg amputation. And my store KNOWS THIS but refuses to do anything. After finally getting Food Lion corporate to issue a refund. I'm told I have to now wait 7-10 business days to get MY MONEY BACK so I can get FOOD I NEED TO SURVIVE! THANK YOU FOR THE AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE FOOD LION! SUGGEST A BOYCOTT. SHOW THEM WE DESERVE BETTER TREATMENT WITH MILLIONS IN LOST REVENUE. 🙏
