  Honestly, I don't want to do too much negative talking on this Bojangles cuz I do go here quite frequently, but that just means that I can truthfully say that it's really Hit or Miss. Pictured above is the last time we went to try to order through drive-thru .. for some odd reason there was a giant truck unloading in front of the drive-thru area. It was extremely large, it was in the way & it was a little bit frustrating. This is definitely one of them places you want to check your food before you pull off only because I've been at least three times when they have gotten either my sides wrong or completely forgot a meal in a sort. My last time going wasn't that bad. I did place the order I had so the drive-thru issue wasn't that bad. It was just like a convenience. I was kind of expecting them to get an attitude at the window about me pulling around even though the drive-thru was unavailable but she wasnt and she was real cool which I appreciate.

  The Supremes are A-1 when you ask for them to be made fresh. The fries could use some work though.

  I would like to take a moment to recognize an employee named DeAndre at the Bojangles in Portsmouth. One morning I came in while dealing with a lot personally, and his customer service truly made a difference in my day. His pleasant attitude, patience, and genuine smile turned my whole mood around. It’s not every day you come across someone who treats customers with that level of kindness and professionalism. You can tell he takes pride in his job, and it shows in the way he speaks to people and makes them feel welcome. If you want top-tier customer service with a smile, I highly recommend stopping by the Bojangles in Portsmouth and asking for DeAndre. Employees like him are the reason people keep coming back. Thank you, DeAndre, for making my morning better than you probably even realized.

  I waited at the drive thru speaker for 5 minutes before anyone said anything. I got a phone call and they finally came to the speaker to take my order.
