I was in this location on Tuesday or Wednesday of this past week towards 5pm. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak Pan pizza with a gift card. There was some manner of mix up or miscommunication from me to the order-taker and the order was rung in as a pan pizza with steak on top, instead of the crafted Philly Cheesesteak recipe pizza on top of a Pan pizza. Now, there was a trainee, seemingly, on the pizza line who incorrectly read the ticket and, ironically, made the pizza I had intended to purchase instead of the pizza as it was rung in. The only difference was he had put red sauce on it, when typically the Philly Cheesesteak pizza doesn't come with that. I overheard the staff come to the realization that the pizza had been made differently than what the ticket had described. Now. The reason for this long-winded explanation; When I let the staff know I was content to take whatever pizza they had prepared, as it was closer to the pizza I intended to begin with, one of the crew members stepped forward to double check. A 5" something blonde girl whose name I did not get, but who was training the trainee on the pizza line. She went out of her way to let me know the pizza isn't going to taste how I was expecting it to, due to the red sauce. That is an awesome instinct to have. She didn't earn anything by doing so. She probably would have lost money in food-cost if she had remade my pizza. Regardless, her goal was to make sure that I received the pizza I wanted, the pizza I expected and that I was satisfied with my meal. That is a level of care and service that isn't a result of training, more often than not, it is a result of just actually giving a damn. So 5 stars almost exclusively because of that interaction.

Service really kinda stunk this visit. I've had decent to very good service at this location before, and I get that mistakes happen. My complaint is with the way staff handled clearing up their mistakes. I placed my order via the app as I always do. I pulled in at the store location, and hit the "I'm here" button. A minute or so later the app notifies me that my order is ready for pickup. I walked in the store and I was greeted by friendly staff, they asked me my name and I told them. After discussion amongst themselves, they determined that one item out of the three items I'd ordered had been prepared for me. Profuse apologies. They asked me what vehicle I was in, and told me that they would bring my order to me as soon as it was ready. A half an hour later, still no order. I went back into the store to inquire and after further discussion amongst themselves, they determined that they had given my order to someone else! Again profuse apologies. They take another run at preparing my order, and this time they managed to get it to me only a little bit over an hour past the original "your order is ready" point! 🤔 I was understanding with the first mistake, a bit frustrated with the second, but at no point was I abusive. I worked in food service some years ago, and we typically apologized profusely, comped/discounted, offered coupons, etc. Really rather surprised that nothing was done in this case.
