    Ordered almost $50 worth of food and couldn’t get 3 small cups of ice water for my children . I ordered a meal with added bacon , paid for the bacon and no bacon on my sandwich . The bacon alone was almost $3. I tried calling , of course no answer ( it’s Norfolk ) I came from Portsmouth and decided not to even go back but i tried to call and let them know how the food and service was .

    What a bunch of absolute crap. Waited at the order speaker for several minutes to try and order some breakfast. Dude says "No breakfast. It's 10:31"! It wasn't when I got here. Really? 10:31? BS! Who wants a hamburger at 10:31am?

    Customer Service Review – February 18, 2026 (Approximately 9:00–9:30 AM) I visited this McDonald’s location on February 18, 2026 between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. You can review the security footage to verify this interaction. The woman working the front counter at that time was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her tone was dismissive, frustrated, and condescending — as if my presence alone was an inconvenience. She spoke to me in a manner that felt belittling, as though I were a child rather than an A person providing service as an A person providing service as a Dasher just like she’s providing service for the customer. I am too worst part like I’m not an adult customer. When I asked about my order, she responded with visible irritation, stating, “It’s not ready yet. When it comes out, it’ll be over there for pick up,” without any courtesy, explanation, or announcement system. She then placed the bag in the pickup area without calling out the order or making any effort to communicate clearly. While I understand that the bag was placed in a designated pickup section, procedures vary by location. Basic professionalism requires communication. There was also another DoorDash driver present who appeared to receive similar dismissive treatment. The pattern of behavior felt targeted and unnecessary. Whether intentional or not, the interaction carried the tone of profiling and selective hostility. Customer service is not complicated: respect, clarity, and professionalism. What I experienced was the opposite — no decorum, no courtesy, and no accountability. It was disappointing to see behavior that reflects poorly on a brand with the longstanding reputation of McDonald’s. This employee should not be representing the face of this location if this is the standard of conduct being displayed. The situation deserves review and corrective action. No person who is DoorDash, providing the very service that you are taking care of the customer should feel disrespected or unwelcome when simply picking up an order. McDonald’s has built its name over decades. It would be unfortunate for that reputation to be diminished by front-line staff who do not understand basic professional standards.
