  First of all, I want to say I did an order here for my daughter baby shower. I got chicken a fruit tray and cupcakes and everything was perfect. Delicious chicken was hot cupcakes were good and from now on I’m only ordering for them.

  Tonight I ran into Food Lion to grab some Splenda for my sweet mama… and witnessed something that just didn’t sit right with me. The woman in front of me decided to absolutely go in on a brand new employee—like first day on the job new. All because he asked to scan her ID for an alcohol purchase (which is standard policy). She showed it… but refused to let him scan it. When he followed policy and declined the sale, she cussed him out and treated him horribly. Let me say this loud for the people in the back: He was doing his job. People… do better. Even if you think you’re right, there is a time and place to address it—and it’s NOT by tearing someone down who’s just trying to do their job. Kindness costs nothing. Respect goes a long way. Don’t be a Karen. 💯

  Was in line to purchase two items. Troubles were had with the individual in front of me financially. I made a comment and was immediately ostracized by the cashier and manager.
