Despite this, it took about 10 minutes just to take our order, and an additional 15 minutes to prepare a simple iced latte. What was most concerning was the lack of urgency. The staff appeared very relaxed in their movements and pace, even though there was no crowd or rush to manage. In a quick-service coffee shop, efficiency and time awareness are important, especially when customers are ordering basic items. A sense of urgency doesn’t mean rushing or being stressed, it means being aware of customers’ time and working with reasonable efficiency, particularly when the workload is light. Unfortunately, that was missing during our visit, which made a simple coffee stop take much longer than expected.
- JJJeyDec 19, 20251.0Came in just before 9am this morning and the first thing I noticed was a store counter with spills all over it, a dirty card terminal and behind the counter where food and drinks are prepared- a mess. Everyone just kind of having random conversation. Manager on duty seemed like she was more concerned with being buddies rather than actually running her shift. Gently informed her that the counter could use a little wipe down and she told me "Yeah somebody was supposed to finish cleaning that up" and then proceeded back to the drive-thru window to chit chat. I finally got the drink that I ordered and it tasted just like everything I was seeing and hearing. The entire experience was a turnoff. Left with time wasted, my refund and knowing I will never go back to that location. Proper management, better work ethic and training would help out a lot here.
