It looked nice and clean , friendly tall light skinned young lady with long wavy hair was restocking and refilling when I when I approached the count with a quick question. Definitely wasn’t very much else in that area. There was a very small shopping center beside this place, but other than that, nothing much, very small town.

I handed the cashier a perfectly good ten dollar bill. They looked at it strangely and said they could not take it. No pen test. No light. No manager. Just a firm no because “the owner does not take old bills.” I stood there holding legal U.S. currency like I had tried to pay with a seashell. I have been coming here for years with my kids. After this I will find another place for ice cream. Getting pretty wild when you can’t pay with cash. Completely absurd.
