  Definitely one of the best Food Lions I've been to. WORLDS better than the one in Ladysmith/Ruther Glen.

  A sincere “THANK YOU” to the employees at the Food Lion in Montross, Va. I was about to check out and realized my cell phone was not in my pocket. It serves as both my phone and wallet, with my cash and cards! I asked a cashier to dial my number, and asked, loudly, if anyone heard a phone ringing. Immediately, at least 5 workers came to me! One searched my basket, others took off looking through the store, in the aisles, on the shelves. One asked if I had checked my car. I went out, looked, with no success. They continued looking as I became more upset. I looked once more in my pick up, finally finding it in the back seat (I had retrieved my shopping bags from there and must have dropped my phone!). When I returned to the store, they were still looking for it! I held up my phone as so many came to ask if it was found - employees and customers too! I have ALWAYS found the Montross, Va. FOOD LION to be a friendly place to shop. Their kindness and concern showed to me today just reinforced it! Thanks again to everyone who helped. It is greatly appreciated.

  Pretty good hometown store. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. Wish they had a better quality of meats, though.
