My wife got the street tacos and was very pleased. Also be sure to get the molten lava cake fantastic. The entire staff was excellent and made us feel welcomed. Well keep coming back to Mexico Restarant.
- GNgary nelsonNov 21, 20251.0Hadn’t been here in over 10yrs. Was in the area and decided to pick up some food to go. I got two Toluca bowls, left a tip, and drove just over an hr home. Went to eat and it had absolutely no flavor. Chicken, chorizo, beans, rice… no flavor, but a weird taste and texture. My wife tried hers and said it tasted old which could’ve been the weird taste. Like microwaved chicken and old beans and rice. The chorizo definitely had a weird consistency and there was also no queso in the dish as advertised. After an hr ride it could’ve soaked into the food or fell to the bottom of the pan, nope, no queso. I called the restaurant just to see if somebody made a mistake and he said they’ve been making bowls all day with no issue. The person I spoke to was nice and apologetic, but I spent almost $35 on food I couldn’t eat and I was hungry. The manager offered to give me a free meal next time but i told him i don’t live close which is why I hadn’t been there in over 10yrs, and I’m not driving out my way for that. The food was amazing years ago so maybe ownership changed or it was a very bad day for the cook but this was disappointing. And my chips were burnt like another review stated. Ended up eating cereal for dinner!
