  Hickory grilled chicken breast was well prepared and delicious but the angel hair pasta was extremely salty. Server offered to re-plate it but I didn't want it. I would choose another restaurant at the Tyson's Mall before going back to Coastal Flats.

  The blond girl with the braid. Couldn’t remember her name. Maybe it was bell was amazing. It was a very busy night and time but she took really good care of of us. Ensured that we will be taken care of. It’s really rare to see that level of intentional care especially during such a rush. Go bell👏👏

  Simply amazing ... as always! This place never disappoints. It has something for everyone ... and it is ALWAYS done right. I have tried virtually everything on the menu ... more than once ... and it is consistently delicious. And the service is always there, hovering at just the right time, and predictably professional. And the decor and atmosphere is lively but intimate. And all this in a Mall? Yes!

  We stopped by the Coastal Flats located inside the mall after doing some shopping and asked for a table. The wait was about 20 minutes, but the bar area had plenty of availability, so we decided to sit in the bar section instead, which turned out to be a great decision. Wesley was the bartender that day and also serving guests in the bar area. He provided excellent customer service from the start and was very attentive, consistently checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Service here is generally pretty quick. This visit was a little slower because we came during a busy dinner rush, but Wesley did a great job keeping us updated on timing and making sure we were taken care of. I started with the crab chowder soup, which was excellent. For the main course we ordered the smoked salmon entrée and the rockfish special since they were out of the mahi mahi that evening. Both dishes ended up being very good. Even though the restaurant is located inside the mall, it still feels like a full sit down restaurant. In some ways it is even more convenient since the mall is just steps away and you can shop before or after your meal. If you want to avoid the wait, I highly recommend sitting in the bar section. Otherwise making a reservation is a good option as well, something Great American Restaurants did not originally offer when I first started coming but have since adopted. We have always appreciated the attentive service at Coastal Flats and Wesley was no exception. This location inside the mall is actually the original one where I first became familiar with the Great American Restaurants group and they have never disappointed. Another great experience.

  Amazing restaurant for seafood lovers. If you enjoy fresh and delicious seafood, this place is definitely worth visiting. The atmosphere is wonderful and very welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. The interior design and overall vibe create a comfortable and pleasant dining experience. The service is also excellent. The staff are very professional, friendly, and attentive. They make sure everything arrives quickly, and the service is surprisingly fast even when the restaurant is busy. You can tell that they really care about their customers. The food is absolutely delicious. Everything tastes fresh and well prepared, and the flavors are fantastic. One thing I especially liked is the bread—it is very tasty and surprisingly inexpensive compared to many other restaurants. Overall, this is a fantastic place for anyone who loves seafood. Great atmosphere, professional service, and amazing food all in one place. I highly recommend putting this restaurant on your list and visiting at least once in your life. You will not regret it!
