  My wife almost didn't send me due to poor reviews on service. Keep in mind that my dietary tastes lean toward meat cooked with fire, so there's nothing that attracts me to a place called "Tropical Smoothie Cafe." But my experience was positive. Mid-afternoon on a Sunday, nobody in the store. I was immediately greeted by two young girls with friendly smiles. My order was taken and prepared immediately. I took the time to look around - the place was bright and clean, maybe the floor could have used a quick sweep but it was just a little foot traffic debris, it wasn't dirty. My order was brought to me at the table where I was waiting, with a straw and a smile. My wife says the smoothie was delicious. I'm sure she will send me back, she's undergoing chemotherapy and sometimes food wins are hard to find. I might even try something myself next time.

  Worst place ever to get a smoothie and then the shift leader is no better than the employees they don’t help or know what to do when an issue arise smoothies never look like what they’re supposed to and they really don’t care to fix it. They always just say we’ll make it again and then when they remake it, it’s still just as nasty

  I was coming in the mornings before work. I do work right next to a tropical smoothie in Centreville and I think I’ll be keeping my business there for now on. I’m assuming the owner used to be there in the mornings but now it’s only young girls that have zero personality and cannot make a smoothie. The smoothies have been terrible and I'm honestly over the rudeness. And I know I’m not the only one, look at all the negative reviews about the inconsistent smoothies and the atmosphere/ attitudes of staff. I always get a bahama mama with extra WC or chia seeds and they have tasted terrible all week and the other week, too.

  You come into a bright tropical establishment hoping the people match the theme. Yea that’s a joke. Whoever the new girl working has a terrible attitude& the smoothies are terrible. I’ve wasted 3 this week, and not returning. Ridiculous they ask for a tip, sorry they apply it theirselves….. you can’t even smile when I walk in and you want a tip for already doing your job?? Goodbye 😂
