  There has been a decline in the quality of the food here over time. My first couple of visits were decent, but lately it’s been very disappointing. The portion sizes are especially frustrating most of the plate is just rice and cabbage, with only a few small pieces of meat. The food doesn’t taste fresh, and there’s a clear lack of flavor. The rice and peas is bland, and the meat is under-seasoned. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re expecting good value for your money.

  Stew chicken, rice n peas, cocoa bread. There's someone in back cooking with luv. This food is so good. Awesome service as well. Definitely returning, when I pass back thru Virginia ❤️

  Portions for rice and oxtail are good but the oxtail is way too salty. Their website is also super confusing, Included additional tip and won’t refund any mistakes

  As a Trinidadian raised in NYC I’ve eaten alot of stewed oxtail & this IS the real deal. Spent $26 for a large oxtail dinner and it was amazing, NO NOTES. Being in NOVA it can be really hard to find real authentic carribean food and I’m so happy to have found this place. I will be back.

  I was disappointed with my recent visit. While I was looking forward to enjoying the food, the customer service left a negative impression. The person who took my order appeared unfriendly, did not smile, and seemed visibly displeased throughout the interaction. It made the experience feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
