I called the store and spoke with a manager, who told me the only way they could send out the cinnamon bites was if we returned the garlic knots. I explained that for the inconvenience, they should still send the cinnamon bites, especially since the kids had already handled the garlic knots. He refused. To me, good customer service would’ve been to allow us to keep the garlic knots and still correct the mistake. Asking for the touched food back raises concerns—are they planning to reuse it for another customer? That’s unsanitary and unacceptable. Overall, the customer service was extremely disappointing, and the manager’s response was unprofessional.
