  I am guessing Food Lion does not instruct its Front Line employees to be deliberately rude, passive aggressive, curt, and/ or act annoyed and put upon when doing the basic minimum requirements of their job, yes? For young Benji, Benji's manager and others who may fit this description, the proper response to "THANK YOU" is "Your Welcome and Have a Nice Day!" or something similar. The proper response is NOT "uhm hmmm." AND when someone walks up to a check out line, they should be greeted politely with something along the lines of, "Hello Sir, did you find everything you need today? Would you like me to double bag?" or something similar. I know it REALLY HARD to exercise basic common courtesy, especially when you are being paid to do so, but I believe that Food Lion can do it. Go ahead, give it a try. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Good day.

  This store is well stocked and organized, and have friendly and helpful staff that are efficient. Great job!

  If you ever need to call they will never answer, I spent an entire day trying to speak to customer service and no one ever picks up. What is the use of a phone if no one answers?

  Small, not much selection. Had a hard time finding an item and it took me asking 3 separate store clerks to actually find where it was.
