  For the past 2 years, our family has been shopping at this Food Lion location, but recent experiences have been deeply troubling. A specific employee in a wheelchair has repeatedly followed us around the store, creating an uncomfortable and unwelcome shopping experience. Today's Incident: On January 2, 2026, this employee once again targeted us, going out of her way to harass us while we were simply shopping. The store manager was present during this incident but failed to intervene or address the situation appropriately. Key Issues: • Repeated harassment: This is the second documented incident where this employee has targeted our family •Edward, a U.S. veteran, has been subjected to this discriminatory treatment as well • Persistent following and surveillance of our family • Unnecessary confrontations and antagonism • Lack of appropriate managerial oversight • Pattern of behavior that suggests racial profiling I've documented this latest incident with video evidence and am filing a formal complaint with Food Lion corporate. This behavior is unacceptable and creates a hostile environment for customers, especially for those who have served our country. I hope Food Lion takes this seriously and addresses these issues promptly to ensure a safe and welcoming shopping experience for all customers, regardless of their background or service to our nation."

  Prices are ok. But employees are wonderful. Store is clean and there is always someone around if you need help. Awesome "small town" feeling here.

  So, I was looking for something specific that even Walmart didn't carry, but sure enough, Food Lion had it, in stock, and on sale. I bought 10 boxes. Would have bought more but I wanted to leave a few. I know how disappointing it is if it's on your list and none available. I had been looking for over a week in a lot of stores. My suggestion, hit Food Lion first for what you need, I'd be surprised if it's not there. Always get club cards anywhere you shop, it adds up.

  Deli Manager Mel falsely accused me of harassment when I asked for her name to report her to HR. I recorded the altercation the other manager on shift did absolutely nothing but stand there he did give me her name but I still felt unsupported the manager I believe his mane is Dave. He did not address what happened or offer any assistance. I believe this situation was handled unprofessionally and disrespectfully.

  Deli Manager named Mel was seen yelling at an associate and repeatedly rolling her eyes and walked away when the employee asked for her name I recorded the altercation from afar I thought things would escalate..staff should be trained on professionalism and proper communication. Everytime I go there the girls in the back are always complaining or talking about things that should not be discussed in a work place setting management should receive proper training on professional communication and handling employee concerns respectfully. It’s also another women who always has an attitude when asked anything about the deli the whole department needs new staff I was very concerned for the young lady who left after the altercation. I spoke with her all was well but management should have done better.
