    Now with rodent bait boxes next to each entrance. We used to shop here frequently, but for the past month there's a rodent poison box prominently displayed by both entrances. Not the vibe we want where we buy groceries, so we shop elsewhere now. Pretty tacky of them to do this. Are they that dirty?

    I most always do online ordering for a certain medical reason, however if I ask for No Substitutes and the personal shopper asks me is there anything I can replace it with and I ask do they have a different one and name it and they reply no but you put no Substitute. Well yes I did because of food allergies. Don't ask if you can Substitute it if I say no Substitutions. There is one tall gentlemen there who is extremely kind and considerate tho. I have the screenshot to prove it.

    After shopping while running errands, one of the items (Hunt’s tomato paste) rang up as $0.00. I was at self checkout and out of nowhere, this lady comes and starts manhandling my bagged items and rifling through everything in search of the offending tomato paste and then proceeds to talk to other associates about it rather than trying to assist me or in any way make up for this inconvenience. Then, because I am on a schedule, I just have her take them off because I do not have time for her to figure out what’s wrong with THEIR system and confer with everyone who is in earshot about how she “bought one the other day and it didn’t ring up like that.” As though that were relevant to the current situation or at all considerate of my time. As such, I barely made my next appointment and now have to rethink dinner because of this horrible experience. Next time, eat the cost of a couple cans of tomato paste and figure out what’s wrong with your stuff AFTER the customer has gone. What is minor to you may not be to someone else. The worst part was that afterwards, she just stood around and didn’t go pull the other ones off the shelf or put up signage or even tell anyone to do that. Just inconvenienced me and made me re-bag all of my stuff and delayed me. Stressful shopping due to employee rudeness and system errors. Good job, Food Lion.

    For the past 2 years, our family has been shopping at this Food Lion location, but recent experiences have been deeply troubling. A specific employee in a wheelchair has repeatedly followed us around the store, creating an uncomfortable and unwelcome shopping experience. Today's Incident: On January 2, 2026, this employee once again targeted us, going out of her way to harass us while we were simply shopping. The store manager was present during this incident but failed to intervene or address the situation appropriately. Key Issues: • Repeated harassment: This is the second documented incident where this employee has targeted our family •Edward, a U.S. veteran, has been subjected to this discriminatory treatment as well • Persistent following and surveillance of our family • Unnecessary confrontations and antagonism • Lack of appropriate managerial oversight • Pattern of behavior that suggests racial profiling I've documented this latest incident with video evidence and am filing a formal complaint with Food Lion corporate. This behavior is unacceptable and creates a hostile environment for customers, especially for those who have served our country. I hope Food Lion takes this seriously and addresses these issues promptly to ensure a safe and welcoming shopping experience for all customers, regardless of their background or service to our nation."

    Prices are ok. But employees are wonderful. Store is clean and there is always someone around if you need help. Awesome "small town" feeling here.
