I thought tonight I'd mix things up a little and visit the Haymarket location to see which one I prefer. Hands down Gainesville! The layout of the restaurant, the staff, even parking is better at Gainesville. The food was good at both so if you're ordering online for delivery there's no big difference but in person I'll definitely keep going to Gainesville.

The burger was well-proportioned given current pricing, and the ingredients were fresh and neatly prepared. The fries were especially impressive—crisp and well-seasoned, unlike the soggier versions I have experienced at other Five Guys locations. Staff were courteous, and the outdoor seating was a nice touch. The only drawback was that some guests did not clean up after themselves, which affected the overall atmosphere. Overall, a very positive experience, and I would gladly return.
- SSSam SmithSep 19, 20251.0Whatever happened to oversized fries portions? Got very little fries portion for ~$7. Very soggy and drenched in oil fries. Never again! They replaced the fries cups with tiny paper bag which didnt fill up properly.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
