  Ughh. I had a horrible experience this morning. Upon arriving in the drive thru I was greeted by “ place your order”. I proceed to say “Good morning can I please have a super sonic burrito and a Mango Peach Slush add a slice of fresh lime please” she reads back the order but says “limeade” I corrected her 3 times (Mango Peach Slush add a slice of fresh lime) and she got really rude. Turns out she still gave me the wrong thing. When i sipped it my throat started tingling (as i have a allergy to artificial lime) I started to panic i reached for the EpiPen and I'm not in my car I’m in a rental 🤦🏼‍♀️ I tried calling up there, no answer. I looked at my receipt and she rung up what she wanted to and damn near took me outta here

  I asked for a slushie and was given a different drink. The young lady at the window said that they charged me for a limeade. I didn't get a receipt and the incorrect drink was nasty. No one ever answered the phone. I was just out of money and not sure how much because I didn't even get a receipt.

  Last night I did a online order at 12am pulled into the stall put my information in and it says Shannon will bring your food out a hour has past nobody came out of the building but the drive thru line was steady moving so we get into line to see what's taking so long and our food was cold . Shannon was unprofessional , was nonchalant , lazy . She shouldn't be in customer service with that attitude .

  I don't know what it is about this location but they rip you off on the toppings for the ice cream. Today I got a blast with oreo and brownie mix-ins and I literally counted 7 brownie crumbs and a dusting of oreo powder. I told person at the window it doesnt look like much is in there and it's not mixed, she responded saying everything is mixed in there and it just appeared that way. Under the 7 crumbs of brownie and the dusting of oreo powder, straight plain vanilla ice cream throughout. I don't have this issue with any other location in the area, just this one. I would recommend avoiding this location completely.

  There is never really a long line at this Sonics. For the most part they prepare your food in a timely manner. The location isn't the best but the service makes up for it. I recommend this Sonics over the 2 in Newport News.
