  Several drive in slots were broken or corded of so it gives the appearance of 'we aren't taking care of our stuff' the food is pretty much what you expect and once you get so old, you only visit when someone young begs to get a sweet treat.

  9:45 p.m. on a Thursday. I was about the 7th car in the drive-thru. It took a full 20 minutes from the time I pulled into the line to the time I pulled out. I ordered a double smasher, no cheese, with a large Coke Zero and somehow it came to $12.39 which was nearly a dollar more than getting a combo. I took a bite of my burger as I was rolling away from the window to find that my burger was about room temperature. It's as if they made it the second I placed my order then sat it unboxed on the counter for 12 minutes as I slowly made my way up to the window. I thought it was odd he handed me my burger before he took my payment and before he gave me my drink. Usually fast food restaurants will give you your drink first as they're asking for your credit card generally because they're still preparing your food so it's fresh and hot. The only reason they got two stars instead of one was because the young kid at the counter was friendly and polite. I make the track from DC down to Virginia Beach multiple times a week, I was hoping this would be my stop for food but nope, will not be back.

  The store is very poorly managed and carhop stalls are not tended to. I pulled into stall #22 and pressed the red button to order several times in a five or more minute span with no answer from the staff. After about the fourth or fifth time someone finally asked me what I wanted to order. As I am ordering the meal, the employee is inputting the incorrect information because I see it on the screen. She finally gets the order correct and we paid no issues. 4 minutes or so later the meal is brought out by Jade a very low energy lady. I thank her for the meal and hand it to my daughter and start our drive home. Then I find out from my daughter that the meal was incorrect. She wanted a plain jr burger with nothing but meat, cheese, and ketchup. The burger came with those items and mustard and pickles. Those with 4 year olds or kids in general will understand that they are quite picky at times. This is not the first time that I have been to this sonic, however, this is the same experience I have every time I go to this sonic. Extended wait times in the stall to order and incorrect food when it arrives. Definitely the last time I’ll be there.
