    I ordered: • #8 Large Chicken Bites combo with large tots and a cherry slush • 1 Sonic cheeseburger combo with everything on it and a cola • 1 Sonic cheeseburger (no onion, no lettuce) with a blue raspberry slush I paid, pulled up, and everything appeared correct at the window. When I received the bag, there was only ONE cheeseburger in it and the large chicken bites meal didn’t even have the tots included. One of the burgers I paid for was completely missing. When I brought this to their attention, I was told I would have to pay additional money for the burger — the same burger that was never put in the bag in the first place. That is unacceptable. I already paid for it. Because of their mistake, my husband didn’t get his tots that were supposed to come with his large combo, and I had to give him some of mine. That shouldn’t happen when you’re paying over $30 for fast food. Mistakes happen — but trying to charge a customer again for food you failed to provide is not okay. Very disappointed with how this was handled.

    Today I went to pick up my wife’s drink orders. A strawberry sprite and 2 strawberry slushes with nerds. The two slushes were literally made incorrect, it looked like they stuffed a bunch of shaved ice into the cups and just squirted a few spots of strawberry. Slush was 95% shaved ice and they just put the nerds in the middle of all the shaved ice. Like a horrible snow cone with a drip of flavoring. Thankfully, the cups are clear. I was in absolute disbelief that they would even hand that to me, knowing it was horribly wrong. I asked for a refund for the two slushes and explained why I was disappointed to the employee especially the simple fact that they probably knew it’s not how it’s normally made and still decided to send it out. I doubt they were surprised I had came back to the drive-thru window.. The strawberry sprite seemed fine so I was going to keep it but they said in order to refund the two drinks that they need them all back… so I gave it back. I’m just overall disappointed with the sonic crew today. Waste of my time.

    My main issue with Sonic is the same with multiple Drive-Thrus: complicated and/or large menu with no pre-menu to choose food from before getting to You’re at the order speaker and asked what you want before you have had a chance to decide it. Next, are there desserts other than ice cream? Can’t tell on the menu, and the fudge and cinnamon bites that were my entire reason for going here are no longer offered. Sonic used to be a go-to for me; now it’s a last resort.
