When I visit my friend in Fredericksburg, VA, we always visit this Carrabbas for dinner. It is usually busy so we try to go on a week night, but this time we went on a Saturday night. As we walked up to the door, I noticed something in the outdoor dining area that looked like a dead, wet black cat. Not appetizing! We walked in and it was freezing cold in the restaurant, mainly because there was only 1-2 tables of diners. It took a while to get seated because they said they let their servers go. Once we were seated, we discovered we were given 2 different menus. We ordered and my friend ordered an entree with broccoli as her side. The server came back to inform us they were out of broccoli. He offered asparagus or spinach, both an additional cost. They did not remove the extra charge even though it was not our fault. I ordered the meatballs and ricotta. I get this at my Carrabbas all the time. I usually get 4 meatballs, but this time I only got 2. Just as well because they tasted weird. Overall it was truly the worst experience ever at this chain.

I travel a good amount for work and normally visit Carrabba‘s because I enjoy the consistency of the food and service. Unfortunately, this last time there were a couple hiccups. I wanted to give a huge shout out to the manager Amanda whose performance was nothing shy of stellar. She assumed responsibility and found a solution instead of passing blame. Someone who embraces this philosophy is definitely a keeper and should be recognized.

We recently visited Carrabba’s Italian Grill and left feeling disappointed, mainly due to the pricing and overall value. We ordered a ribeye that came out to $43.97, expecting a complete and satisfying plate at that price point. However, we were surprised to find that even very basic sides like asparagus and fettuccine alfredo were charged separately. The side fettuccine alfredo was $7.99, and the portion was extremely small, not at all what you would expect for that price. When you are already paying nearly $40+ for a steak, charging extra for minimal sides feels excessive and frustrating. We don’t mind paying for quality, but this experience did not reflect good value. For comparison, at LongHorn Steakhouse you can get a similar steak for significantly less, often with sides included, which makes the overall experience much more reasonable. The food itself was okay and the atmosphere was pleasant, but the pricing structure left us feeling like we overpaid for what we received. I am sharing this feedback in good faith and hope management takes it seriously. At this point, I would appreciate if someone from the management team could reach out and help make this right, as this experience did not meet expectations for the price paid.

My family and I love this place. We are from Chicago and eating here has been a thing for us. Over the years no matter the state, this establishment has been on a decline for us. We always get the ribeye steaks and this time I was not pleased at all. For the price of food, the quality needs to be there every single time. My steak was thin, small and questionable. I’ve never received a ribeye from this establishment that looked like that for almost $40. My husband’s steak look exactly how we receive them every single time. You would think that when a table orders the same item, that the items would be almost identical so that there’s not confusion. My steak was well done which I’ve never had a problem before. This time it was flakey, hard and unseasoned. Which I’ve mentioned before this isn’t a one off situation. It’s been declining. The cost of living is too high for the prices to keep jumping and the quality of goods to go down. My server was friendly which they are always for me. The establishment is always clean and quiet enough to talk to the person next to you. I did share with my husband that it might be a while before we come back. I’ve eating at this exact locations about 5 times and have not been satisfied. I’m one of those that would keep trying because, I know it could have just been a bad day in the kitchen. This is just my experience. My photos are a screen shot of a video I took. I didn’t get a picture of my husband’s steak to show the difference. The shrimp was good but, nasty to my family. It was just too salty and my husband is a salt lover. I was able to tolerate it more. The Alfredo which my son loves actually did not like it for the first time. It was dryer than normal and didn’t have the Alfredo flavor that is known to this establishment. We spent about $160 plus dollars and we tipped $35
