  Stopped by the store on Thursday night along with about 5 others around 10:45pm when we found the doors locked. There were two men standing inside at the window when one of the ladies outside with me asked to come in. Instead of coming to the door he just shooed us away. (With a look of we weren’t worthy of coming in his store). There were no closed signs on either door and a customer had just come out carrying a grocery bag of purchases. It looked like they were going to do some type cleaning however one of the men believed to be the manager chose to wave us away instead of just cracking open a door to explain why 15 minutes before closing time he chose not to take our business. With Walmart and a Kroger within 5 miles away I might need to change my grocery store choice.

  I live about 5 minutes from the Food Lion on E Salem lynchburg turnpike. Every time I go in there, everyone greets me and ANYTIME a line there is a long line, an additional associate OR management will hop on a register to help the customers waiting. Also, they are the only company that sells food that DOES NOT have self-checkout. Everyone is amazing at this location. Excellent customer service!

  New London Food Lion is The Best Food Lion store to shop in ! Produce is always Fresh and Meat Department has fresh meat .The store is very clean . Kristen Irving is an Excellent Assistant Store Manager! She keeps the store well and beyond store specification
