  I heard great things about this place and I had a craving for a cheeseburger, so instead of going across the street to five guys I decided to go to Sweetwater Tavern for a cheeseburger. I decided to do a to go order and got the spinach dip, and a cheeseburger with supposedly everything but the mayo mustard. I came home to my cheeseburger looking like this. The lettuce was wilted, and there was no tomato that I asked for. Luckily I had lettuce and tomato at home so I was able to doctor up my cheeseburger. But I shouldn’t have to do that. The spinach dip was okay, but I wouldn’t get it again. I thought the chips were salty and the spinach dip was bland. I just think this meal was an overall miss for me. One good thing about this experience was that the ladies that came to my car to check on me and give me my food were super nice! I wish I remembered their names because I would definitely give them a shout out!

  Great as usual. I wanted a blackened prime rib but they were out. I had the drunken ribeye instead. It was very good and a nice change, but I like the prime rib better. The rolls are awesome. I hope to be back soon!

  Been dining at this Sweetwater since the fall of 2001. Stupid me, I should have taken stock out on this joint. It's truly one of the best places for food and drink in NVA. Third time having supper here over the past month I've been back in the area and it's so great finding the same excellence and consistency in the dishes at the same high standard I've experienced for the past 25 years. Service has always been great and this evening was no exception. Miss Taylor was kind, super knowledgeable, quick and efficient. Made tonight's meal of the prime rib all the more pleasant. How Sweetwater manages to hire on such lovely young women to serve customers has to be some proof that they at least treat their staff reasonably well. Bottom line, Sweetwater is a great place to dine or just stop in for a drink at the well stocked bar. It's even worth driving in from anywhere else in NVA. Just try Sweetwater out. It's worth it.

  Excellent outpost for Great American restaurants. Similar food and atmosphere to Patsys or Jackson’s, two of my favorites. Great food, menu has a few more pastas and BBQ ribs which are great. Larger beer selection. Service is excellent. Really large space with lots of tables. Great bar right in middle of the restaurant with lots of people watching games. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.

  Whenever I want a proper juicy burger, this is the place I go. It has become my regular spot, and it never disappoints. The burgers are consistently better than what most places advertise and fail to deliver. The service here is on another level. You are always treated well, and if there is ever an issue—which is rare—they fix it immediately. It does not matter how minor the complaint is or how unusual the request may sound, they take care of it right away and make it right. That level of hospitality is a big part of why I keep coming back. I have had the much-hyped Burger in Las Vegas, and to be honest, it was twice the price and nowhere near the quality of what Sweetwater serves. This place delivers the better burger, the better value, and the better overall experience.
