- RORobert ortizFeb 12, 20264.0The store looked really good. However, I was not engaged by any of the employees as I walked through it. Pricing was seen to be competitive. It's an old store definitely needs a remodel and updated is in a very good neighborhood and i'm sure the sales have improve since I last worked there
- SSShannonJan 18, 20261.0I had a deeply unsettling and unprofessional experience at this Safeway. While using the self-checkout, I was being watched/stared at by an employee. As I was bagging my items, this employee physically crowded my space to take over my screen and fill out the customer survey for himself, giving himself all 10s. When I told him it was my survey and asked what he was doing, he became confrontational, claiming it was "his job" to complete it. He then brought over another worker to double down on the behavior. I felt racially profiled, intimidated, and so unsafe that I had to leave the store without the groceries I had just scanned. Survey manipulation and harassing customers is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this location.

I have never before experienced employees having to beg a manager to support them in completing their job to provide customer service and assistance. I truly believe that the employees here could be developed to do more if given the opportunity. Unfortunately, I left with the manager being unwilling to provide polite or helpful resolution and the check-out employees trying to be the ones to keep things professional.
