I had filled up a basket with two orders, and I needed it somewhere to keep the basket. I asked the manager Pedro if I could leave it at self check out while I completed my third order. His response was, I cannot give you anyone to babysit your cart. I let him know I didn’t ask for a babysitter. I just asked could I keep it self check out and maybe that person could keep an eye on it. So I took it upon myself and went to self check out, and Donald was very accommodating and had no problem, keeping an eye on my basket and even helped me get an extra basket for when I was doing my Check out. Donald went above and beyond to make my shopping experience a great one. Pedro however did absolutely nothing to try and help me out. Not only am I a DoorDasher but I also shop at Safeway myself. I was very disappointed in Pedro’s response. I know the stores are super busy at this time of year but I did not expect the manager on duty to be so rude.
