The first 3 times, they said “our system is down for the next hour or two. Both times were between 8 and 9pm. The second two times they could only accept cash. This all was over a six month period. I won’t be wasting anymore of my time with this Wendy’s.

- RWR WynAug 1, 20251.0Today I visited Wendy’s to pick up food for myself and my partner. I ordered a #1 Double Combo, a chicken sandwich, a soda, and a large vanilla Frosty. As I approached the window to pay, I asked the young lady if I could add an additional large Frosty to my order. Instead of helping, she responded with a dismissive attitude and told me I would need to drive all the way back around to place a new order—despite the fact that I was already at the window and ready to pay. Her tone was unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. I chose not to engage and simply left without completing the order. If employees are going to work in customer-facing roles, especially in the fast food industry, professionalism and basic courtesy should be a priority. I strongly recommend that the franchise owner conduct unannounced visits to observe how their staff are interacting with customers. Based on today’s experience, I can only give this location ½ a star out of 5.
