When you're on Chincoteague Island looking for a delicious frozen treat, there's one place locals will tell you is not to be missed. All you need to do is head down Maddox Blvd. until you come to the lighthouse, and we'll be there, eager to serve you our delicious homemade ice cream. The Island Creamery has been around since 1975 and is family owned and operated. We're proud to base our recipe on an all-natural, premium butterfat mix as well as local fruit for our 32 flavors. Have a latte on our patio or grab a fresh waffle cone as you explore the island -- we'll make sure you always have access to something delicious.

    Went tonight because my son had a coupon for a free cone from his school. Both flavors we tried (chocolate and pony tracks) were DELICIOUS and the portion size was very generous as well. We'll definitely be back to try more flavors. 😁

    One Of the best ice cream places in Virginia. They hand-make theor ice cream, and their ice cream tastes like is has little to no preservatives, and they offer sugar free, and vegan flavors for people without dietary restrictions. Highly Recommended! :D
