All you need to do is head down Maddox Blvd. until you come to the lighthouse, and we'll be there, eager to serve you our delicious homemade ice cream. The Island Creamery has been around since 1975 and is family owned and operated. We're proud to base our recipe on an all-natural, premium butterfat mix as well as local fruit for our 32 flavors. Have a latte on our patio or grab a fresh waffle cone as you explore the island -- we'll make sure you always have access to something delicious.

My family and I go to Chincoteague every year and always get ice cream from here multiple times throughout our trip. I usually get cake batter in a waffle cone with chocolate sprinkles, it is the best ice cream EVER! I have tried the Island Creamery in Berlin but it’s not the same vibe. I’ve been going here since I was a little kid and have always loved it. We usually bring home a pint of cake batter and a pint of marsh mud and a bag of waffle cone pieces. They have ever got our order wrong! The staff is kind and loving. If we have a problem they are always there to help, but usually there’s not a problem beside the fact that one of us might have spilled ice cream and need more napkins!🤣 So like I said I LOVE ISLAND CREAMERY!!! I’m already excited for next years trip! Sometimes we go for a day just so we can go to the beach and… get Island Creamery.
