    I went there(April 26'26) expecting the best sushi. I used to go this place, and always loved and enjoyed my visit. So, on our way there, I was bragging about the place to the boys which also love sushi. Then, we got there, was seated. Got our drinks. Then, a few mins.later proceed with our order. The boys and I chat for quite sometimes that we didn't realized that it has been 45 mins since we got our table. So, I started asking "what's goin' on?" The server says that they are working on it. I'm like ok? Then, 10 mins later, it arrived. We told ourselves that we should've just gone to Sushi King. I always think that Sushi King went down the hill. But the quality and the quantity of sushi at Made in Asia is worse. One of the boys that's with me normally order about 3 rolls, and his stuff, so he order 3 rolls at Made in Asia. Of course! Because of the long wait. He was starving and wanted more but with decided that he was just gonna get tiramasu. I asked the server if he can get it right away. He respond:Yes! 20 mins later still waiting. Now, I'm irritated. I went and approached him and asked for our check, also canceled the desert we order. Again, he said: Sure.But before I hand him my cc I check the bill, and he has tiramasu included in the check. So asked again, what's going on, also asked if it is a new management. He said yes. I'm thinking... that explains everything. This place was top 5 sushi place I like in Richmond(Hull Street)area. I will never come back in this place again. Poor service. Food is not all that good. AND WATCH AND CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE PAYING

    I was highly disappointed with my recent experience at this restaurant. Our party of 8 waited 45 minutes just for appetizers, even though there were only about 10 other patrons in the restaurant outside of our group. Once the appetizers finally arrived, we then waited an additional 30 minutes for our entrees. When the food came out, it was cold. I refused my meal and sent it back because it was unacceptable. To make matters worse, the owner never once came to our table to address any concerns, despite clearly being present and walking around the establishment the entire time. When we specifically asked to speak with the owner, we were sent the manager instead. We were then told the owner had “just left for the bank” — at 7 PM on a Saturday night, which was hard to believe. Another major disappointment was learning they do not have a liquor license and can only serve beer and wine. This was never mentioned on their website or when making reservations for a party. Proper communication would have set expectations ahead of time. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, cold food, and terrible customer service left a bitter taste. If you don’t have a liquor license, be transparent and post it online so customers know what to expect. Sadly, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

    Deeply Disappointed — My Birthday Dinner Deserved Better! My birthday dinner at this establishment was an unfortunate disappointment from beginning to end. The service was disorganized, the food arrived cold, and the overall experience felt more like an afterthought than a celebration. It took 45 minutes for two simple appetizers, and when the entrées finally arrived, the plates were hot but the food itself was cold. The staff seemed overwhelmed and disconnected — no communication, no coordination, and multiple errors on the checks, including double charges. To make matters worse, the restaurant only offered beer and wine, which was never communicated beforehand. Meanwhile, the staff appeared far more focused on DoorDash and delivery orders than the guests sitting in the dining room. Management even offered complimentary drinks to delivery drivers for their patience, yet offered nothing to my dinner party. When we attempted to address the issues, management conveniently “went to the bank” at 9 PM on a Saturday night. Despite the poor service, an automatic gratuity and an additional tip were added to the bill. As an elite reviewer, it genuinely saddens me to leave this rating, but I cannot recommend this establishment for a sit‑down dining experience.

    My first impression of “Made in Asia” was an 11/10. My boyfriend and I made the mistake of ordering through DoorDash; we had someone else’s order from an entirely different restaurant delivered to us. After spending close to $60, the incorrect order we received was only two appetizers (about $20 worth of food). We called the delivery driver and texted countless times, with no response. I called the restaurant and spoke with their manager, Ashley. She did not hesitate to correct someone else’s mistake and went out of her way to make sure we got the food we had ordered; She was incredibly polite and very helpful. My order was ready and waiting for me when I arrived, and the staff at the front door already knew my situation and directed me to their manager Ashley, who not only had my order re-made, but also gave me a coupon for their online delivery/pickup, and she even went out of her way to contact DoorDash and report the driver. Their food was delicious, and their customer service was absolutely top tier. Thank you Ashley for your phenomenal customer service! Y’all have definitely earned a repeat customer.

    Have been ordering take out from her for the past 5 years. Tonight was the absolute worst! - wonton soup lacked flavor and season tasted like water - crab Rangoon were VERY sweet! Couldn’t tell if the cream cheese was spoiled or if it’s the new recipe - pork egg rolls taste like straight vinegar! Extremely over powering. - peanut sauce was coagulated and chunky - chicken satay was raw and lacked flavor -triple delight had Chucky gelatin piece in it. I’m not sure what happen to the old cook/menu but it’s unfortunate.
