Absolutely horrible experience. It took 2 hours for me to get my pizza and the manager gave me attitude when I asked what was happening. Please get Dominos.

As a UVA student who orders from here as a convenient way to use up Flex Dollars (dining dollars) that come with a meal plan and don't carry over to future semesters, this should in theory be a great option. Over the last few years I have had 4 or 5 really bad experiences that prove this is just not the case. Sometimes, the food comes in a very timely manner, but more often than not I find my order taking at least an hour to arrive. On several occasions this year my order has taken 4+ hours to arrive. On top of this, the management at the store is incredibly unhelpful and rude. Aside from one manager, who I unfortunately didn't get the name of that was very apologetic and reasonable after I had an order not delivered for 4 hours, the managers consistently ignore recurring issues and are quick-tempered. Today, I had a manager tell me "I don't have to be spoken to like that" in response to me asking if my phone number was appearing right on the order and if I could change it to the correct one. This was because for the second time in a few weeks, they claimed the driver called me and delivered my order when my number was never called. I was then berated for five minutes about how the job sucks and delivering pizza to college kids is hard (which I understand, but I didn't do anything to provoke this), and then I was hung up on without refund or remake. TL;DR for UVA Students: If you enjoy any of the other options you can spend Flex Dollars on, do it there and avoid this place if possible. If you do order from here, call and check up on your order frequently (if 1hr+), and order well in advance of when you want it to arrive. TL;DR for non-UVA students (since I've ordered over the summer for regular non-Flex orders): If possible, pick it up yourself from the store. I've never had an issue that way and it's much faster. If getting it delivered, the drivers are super nice but the store is inconsistent and you should expect delays.

The pizza had too much sauce that overpowered the taste of every else. I got jalapeños on half because I normally get them on my pizza and the wife doesn't like hot or spicy anything. There were way too many jalapeños on my half that ended up making each bite so hot that it also killed the flavor of everything else. It'll be a while before I buy another papa johns pizza, especially for the price I had to pay for the pizza to start with. I also don't like the fact that when your picking the toppings you want on your pizza they limit you as to how many you can have them put on it. Every on pizza place I get pizza from I have no problem getting as many toppings as I want!

What I ordered and the second pic is what I got . Does not look the same ! Taste like some nasty yum yum wing sauce on my bread sticks . Called manager and they didn’t even offer to refund me. “ it’s the same way we been making it for years, I can’t do anything if there is nothing wrong with the product “

Typically order from here no issues ever until today. Pre-order for a 700 delivery. Pizza arrives 15 minutes after requested delivery. No big deal food was fresh but I ordered a cheese pizza with their cheese bread and bread sticks. The pizza had no sauce on it at all. Called the store told them the issue was told that they would bring a new one just had to switch the pizzas. Again no big deal until its been almost an hr and still no pizza. And I cant stay up all night just waiting for my dinner I work early mornings.
