I’m a regular customer here (UVA student), and before today their food and service has been the bare minimum - just enough to keep me from airing grievances. Today pushed me over the edge - I ordered 4 items online about 10 minutes before getting there, but the workers, who were socializing at the time, only started preparing once they saw me arrive (empty restaurant, mind you). This took another 10 minutes of me waiting at the front counter as they kept talking. After I left, I noticed they forgot my chips and cheese. Thus, it took them about 20 minutes to prepare 3 items of the 4 I ordered. Moving onto past experiences - I regularly notice their workers smoking outside during breaks. Nobody is at the front counter to take your order. If you’re ordering delivery for a group of people, there’s probably a 75% chance they forget at least one item. I’m not asking for restaurant-level service from middle-aged minimum wage workers, but the least they could do is take their job and customers seriously. The food itself is pretty standard for Taco Bell, and honestly quite cheap if you order online.
