Special shout to Christian! He was awesome. I was there on Saturday April 3rd for lunch. I had locked myself out of my daughter’s home so I enjoyed being pampered. He made me feel so welcomed. He gave me a tote bag and purse hanger. He needs a raise😀

The pricing was more than I expected it would be. Walking in the actual establishment, there wasn’t anything too special about the place. The tables are wobbly and the chairs are uncomfortable. Not a real dealbreaker considering you’re only going there to eat, but still, We paid $87 for 2 pizzas (4 slices), two waters, and an espresso martini, so I expected the place to be a bit more fancy? maybe?
This was our first time trying Pupatella’s! We live about an hour and a half away, but a friend recommended it to us. The pizza was absolutely delicious!! I’m originally from Philly, and I’m used to some really great pizza, and it’s so hard to find where I live in VA now, but Pupatella’s didn’t disappoint!
Our server, Christian, was super nice and we came during a slower hour, so they allowed us to sit anywhere. Christian also makes delicious espresso martinis!!!

My husband and I came in for dinner tonight and were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the Buffalo Bianca pizza did not meet expectations—it had very little mozzarella, was smaller than usual (closer to a small than the typical medium size), arrived slightly cold, and was quite dry. The meatballs and tomato sauce were also bland and lacking flavor. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and took away from our evening.
I discussed this with the manager, and while I understand there are policies, I was told there would be an additional charge for extra cheese. The tone felt dismissive, which added to the frustration.
We’ve enjoyed dining here many times in the past, which made this experience especially surprising. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as consistency and customer care are important. At this point, we’ve decided we won’t be returning.
