The service here was nothing short of amazing. Julianna was our server and went above and beyond. It was our first time visiting this place and they made us feel so welcome. We got their house made chips as a warm welcome from Barry (the GM) and they were phenomenal! My friend and I got the brussels sprouts, cheesy bread, and they have a lunch special with a sandwich/salad combo. All were 10 out of 10. We also had some beverages, a cold brew martini, a peanut butter espresso martini, an aperol spritz, and a rosé spritz. It was one of the best lunches ever. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, the patrons also showed a ton of camaraderie, which just shows how much these folks care about their guests! Thank you Julianna & Barry! We will be back before you know it!
I've been here twice and the best things I have eaten there are the Thai noodles and Hot honey feta dip. The cheese curds, brussels, and edameme are basic. The fried deviled eggs were disappointingly forgettable.
My wife ordered the New York strip that was overcooked and augratin potatoes that were also basic. Previously she tried the Poblano pork and it wasn't as flavorful as it could have been. A friend had a chicken dish that was overcooked and dry.
The mixed drinks are okay as well. I think this restaurant has the potential to be amazing with creative menu choices, but they need to master some key dishes instead of having pages of mediocre choices.

You HAVE to try this place! Amazing, prompt, attentive service from start to finish. Variety of food. Everything was delicious. The sauces ... omgoodness the sauces! If you love dipping, they have options and we enjoyed all of them! We ordered a sampler of appetizers including Cajun fries, cheese curds, and crispy deviled eggs -- all were the embodiment of perfection. The only thing that was better than those deviled eggs, was the rice bowl.. filled with ham and beef, and topped with a sunny side up egg. It was enough for 3 meals for me! Also ordered the 8oz beer sampler and had them choose for me -- highly recommend if you're wanting to explore a bit. I can go on and on about this place but you get the idea. Check them out. You won't be disappointed unless you really can't stand plaid.
I visited Lazy Dog on March 8, 2026, and had such a great experience. From the moment I arrived, everything went smoothly. The host, Javier, was honestly one of the funniest and most welcoming people I’ve met at a restaurant. He had such a great personality and kept making everyone laugh, which immediately made the atmosphere feel comfortable and relaxed. His positive energy really stood out and set the tone for the whole visit. The service overall was excellent, and what impressed me the most was that we didn’t have to wait at all to be seated, which made the experience even better. We were seated outside on the patio, which was really nice and gave the whole meal a calm and enjoyable vibe. Between the friendly hospitality, the quick seating, and the great service throughout the visit, it turned out to be a really memorable experience. It’s definitely a place I would recommend, especially because people like Javier make the visit feel special and genuinely enjoyable.
Our first experience here in May 2025 for dinner for a party of 6 was amazing - food, service, and ambiance. Unfortunately, the second and third subsequent lunch experiences for two people were just AWFUL - bad food quality (had to send my RAW burger back twice, I gave up after the second time) and entrees took over 45 minutes to be served. I can say the servers all four times were GREAT (it’s not their fault the kitchen staff was overwhelmed or not cooking up to standard). We weren’t planning on coming back a fourth time but friends insisted they always enjoyed the food here so we tried again February 21, 2026:
Cons:
- Our 6:15pm reservation got cancelled because the line was so long I couldn’t get up to the counter for 15+ minutes despite arriving at 6:15pm. The hostess understood and put us back on the top of the waiting list.
- Then we were told by the seater we couldn’t sit together because another party of 18 people was coming in(we had a party of 6). I had to argue with the server about this and tell him it’s Ramadan (we are Muslim) and we haven’t eaten ALL DAY, plus we had reservations so this was NOT OKAY. It took another 10 minutes but he did find us a table thankfully. We were seated around 6:45pm (30 minutes after our reservation time).
- Despite informing our waitress that we hadn’t been able to drink or eat all day due to fasting and ordering our drinks, appetizers, and entrees immediately - it STILL TOOK OVER 35+ MINUTES for the food to come.
Pros:
- The hostess and our waitress were very understanding and tried to make things right as best as possible.
- Food was DELICIOUS when it finally arrived.
