  Great food, good service, ample seating. However we will not be dining in going forward. We were hit with a mandatory 3% infrastructure fee, which was not disclosed to us before sitting down. This is illegal, and I am taking the steps to report this restaurant. Really disappointed, because we have only ordered out from here and really wanted to support this restaurant and its staff.

  Everything else was quite tasty, but the rice noodles were soft and mushy—they lacked the proper chewy texture. The menu listed the shrimp rice noodles at $19.95, yet the final bill included an extra charge of $4. When I inquired with the server, she explained that this was simply how the system worked and that there was nothing she could do about it.

  I had a very concerning experience with Dolan Uyghur Restaurant until today. The bean sprouts and cucumber in my order were clearly spoiled and appeared moldy. This is not just a quality issue — it is a serious food safety problem. The food was completely inedible. I have photo evidence and reported the issue through Grubhub. Serving food in this condition is unacceptable and potentially harmful to customers’ health. I strongly urge the restaurant to improve their food handling and hygiene standards. I will not be ordering from here again. I am glad I did ask them to leave the sauce on the side this time. Otherwise I don’t know if I will get poisoned or not. Grubhub handled the refund, but the restaurant still needs to improve. If this issue is not taken seriously, it should be reviewed by local health authorities.

  This restaurant is so tasty I was literally stuffed from my meal and was still looking at what other people were eating. The food is delicious. The vibes are great. I love the color scheme and the chairs. The staff are lowkey, but very nice. My boyfriend and I have never had Uyghur food before so we asked for recommendations. We ordered the KORMA CHOP, GOSHNAN, and SIGARA BOREGI. All three were delicious. The korma chop is a noodle dish and even though we ordered “medium” spicy we didn’t find it spicy at all, so they have lower spice levels. We also got the Dolan Chai iced which was very light and refreshing. There’s lots of options for people who don’t like lamb or are vegetarian. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

  We had a wonderful experience at this Uyghur halal restaurant and a big part of that was our server, Karen. She was truly exceptional—attentive, kind, and incredibly thoughtful throughout the entire meal. From the moment we sat down she made us feel welcomed and respected, always checking in at just the right times without ever being intrusive. My parents are observing Ramadan and fasting, and when my dad asked if the food could be brought out hot right at the time of Iftar, Karen immediately understood and happily accommodated the request with no hesitation. That level of care and awareness meant a lot to us and really made the evening special. The food itself was fantastic. We ordered the Chuchura dumpling soup, Samsa, a chicken burger, pepper steak with rice, baby bok choy with garlic sauce, and both the mango and pistachio cheesecakes. Everything was delicious, but the standout for me was definitely the pepper steak—the sauce had an incredible flavor, almost reminiscent of Thai cuisine, and paired perfectly with the rice. The dumpling soup was comforting and flavorful, and the Samsa was a great savory bite. Overall, a great halal dining option with excellent Uyghur cuisine, and truly outstanding service from Karen. We’ll definitely be coming back.
